Exercise can help: Exercise has been shown to have a profound effect on mood and on motivation. Joining a gym is an excellent first step as long as you actually go to the gym. Although exercise will help with weight loss, by itself it is not adequate so you need to pay attention to your calories and the types of food you eat. Exercise may also help with your motivation on your diet. Good luck.
