A member asked:

Will it be hard for me to get pregnant if i had a a ruptured ovarion cyst?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: The egg is actually produced through a functional "ruptured ovarian cyst". The type of cyst you are talking about though is not a "functional cyst" and will tend to fluctuate with the cycle, typically resolving on it's own, but occasionally they rupture. They usually don't cause in long term problems and with the exception of polycystic ovary disease don't risk infertility.
