Depends on need: One effective way is to lean you head forward and once the spray tip is in the nose aim a little lateral and pump once or twice, depending on dosage needed. Try not to spray directly on the septum but into the cavity of the nose. It id s good idea to use a saline spray 5 minutes before the steroid spray to cleans the nose and prepare it for the steroid spray. Saline helps prevent nose bleeds.
