Will having lentigo mean you will definetly get cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not always: There is a melanoma in situ called lentigo maligna, that is located on the face most commonly. It takes many years for it to progress. The term lentigo can be loosly used for a brown mole. Lentigo maligna melanoma is a true cancer usually of the elderly. Any lesion of the face should not be ignored, but check by a doctor.
