A member asked:

If someone already had blood poisoning, what would happen if they got a tattoo?

Tattoo risk: Reputable tattoo parlors use only new needles and practice sterile technique reducing your risk of blood born infections. However, getting tattoos increases your risk of hepatitis and sepsis since sterile practices are not uniformly followed.

Tattooed: They would have a tattoo, but that is all. The tattoo will fade with time and stretch out, and start to look ugly. They will regret getting the tattoo and attempt to have it removed.
