What will be the best method for treating tonsillitis at home?

Depends upon Cause: If caused by a bacterial infection, antibiotics are needed. If caused by a viral infection, time improves. Other causes such such as allergies or trauma require specific interventions. .As far as pain management, acetominophen or ibuprofen, over the counter anesthetic gargles or lozenges, or a salt water gargle may help.See your doctor in case medication is needed.
