Might not be anxiety: Many people who have a cardiac rhythm abnormality with fast rhythms called tachycardia feel as though they are having a panic attack since their heart races. If you had no reason to be anxious, and your heart rate felt very fast, this could be the reason.

No.: Any age is too young. Any age is too old. No one is supposed to have panic attacks. We are all supposed to be laid back and take everything in our stride. But they happen. At any age. Don't be concerned about mild infrequent panic attacks. But, if they are severe or increase in frequency, see a doctor or a therapist.
