I grind my teeth in my sleep but i have a plate. what else to do?

Grind and clenching: Either the bite on your plate is not balanced on both sides or you may have much stress in your life and taking it out on your teeth at night. You should also be evaluated for sleep apnea. Are you in any type of fitness program or relaxation technique program? Consult your dentist and physician.

A different guard: You may want to try using a different type of night-guard. If you are currently using a soft night-guard, sometimes people will grind more with it on. Another option if try using a nti-tss plus device which works like a regular night-guard but is smaller (only covers the front teeth) and used to help relieve the muscles that cause the grinding.
