A member asked:

I am fructose intolerance-- is glucrose ok?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not really/fructose.: It depends on when/what type of fructose intolerance you have. If it's malabsorption, you can likely have some fructose, or sweet foods/fruits with a low relative fructose level. If it is hereditary, you likely can't have it at all. Looking at your age, you likely have malabsorption, which means you can have foods with more glucose than fructose, like potatoes, and avoid apples and pears, etc.
