How long does it take to get psa results back?

PSA results: Most labs have the results within a week or less. It shouldn't take much longer although it may take a while for the doctor to get back to the patient. Hopefully no news is not assumed to be a normal test. You should be informed if the test is normal or abnormal. Check with your doctor.

Depend...: It can be as fast as 1 hr or as long as 1-2 days, depending upon the availability of lab testing and the number of psa test in a lab. But, remember: usually, no psa is a critical matter of 1-2 days. At times, a patient may think he is the only patient of a doctor, a lab, or a hospital; in fact, that could not be true.
