Many different options.: There are many different medications from several different classes of drugs that are used to treat anxiety. Psychotherapy is often very helpful and there are several different types of psychotherapy depending upon the type of anxiety that the patient has. Alternative medicine options exist. Lifestyle options regarding diet and exercise, meditation and prayer, and socialization will all be addressed as well as interpersonal relationships and relaxation tips. That's just a short list for starters.
