BLIND SPOT: We all have a normal blind spot, the optic nerve head. There are other pathological blind spots occurring in diseased conditions such as glaucoma, solitary retinal hemorrhages, artery or vein occlusions etc. Stress alone is unlikely to cause such blind spots, but theoretically it could contribute to worsen a preexisting condition like hypertension, which may lead to retinal hemorrhages.
