A member asked:

Aching head, shoulder and legs, on long trip. help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Take more breaks: Of course this answer depends on how old you are, medical conditions, etc. When you go on a long trip, muscles will cramp when held in the same position. Muscles require flexion and relaxation to move blood through limbs, and the neck and shoulders require movement of the head to relieve constant pressure. Taking breaks to get out and stretch, move legs and arms, and walk will help immensely.
