Are u uncomfortable: If you are uncomfortable due to your large breast size then reduction surgery may improve your symptoms. I have patients that want to increase their breast size to a d cup. I tell them that they may have symptom due to large brests. If your large breast size is causing you discomfort or you suffer from rash under the breast then seek a plastic surgeon to see if your a candidate for surgery.

Pain?: Some reasons for breast reduction surgery include neck, back or shoulder pain as well headaches due to a large chest. If your chest is not in proportion to your body frame this may be more of an issue. It is a personal decision.

A trade-off: These days, it seems like a d cup is more and more a common size! if you feel that they are too large for your frame, or you are having symptoms of neck and back pain, should-strap grooving, and difficulty exercising - and you are ok with the resulting scars, then a breast reduction might be reasonable for you. See a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area for a consult.

Height, weight, shape?: To create an appropriate breast the cup volume, breast shape and the chest frame are the three important things to consider if a patient is of ideal body weight or close to it. If excess weight is also an issue then the other parameters alone cannot truly provide the guideline for appropriate longterm breast result as subsequent weight changes wil affect the shape & volume. You may need breast lift.
