Do males w/ gynecomastia produce milk (in some/special cases)?

Pituitary tumors: Generally speaking, males with gynecomastia do not produce milk. In rare instances of prolactin producing tumors, it is possible to have milk but this would be very unusual.

Rarely: Only in cases of prolactin producing tumors will there be milk secretion associated with gynecomastia. In the vast majority of cases, there is no milk production.

Rarely.: The vast majority of patients who present with gynecomastia do not report milk production/secretion. In the event of this unusual presentation, an endocrinology evaluation would likely be helpful, to rule out significant hormonal imbalances ( prolactin, estrogen, testosterone…).

Very unlikely: If so check prolactin levels and consider ct/mri of brain.
