Absolutely!: Women with chronic seizure disorders can and do get pregnant with great chance for a normal perinatal outcome. Avoid valproic acid if at all possible, take 4-5 mg of Folic Acid daily [until your menopause/hysterectomy/bilateral tubal ligation] and see specialists early (preferably before you conceive) to control your seizures optimally. An increased risk for cerebral palsy exists in these cases.
