Why do sunscreen companies use chemical ingredients when they make their products?

Clear solution: Whike sunblocks such as titanium oxide or zinc oxide may provide complet blocks, they are generall opaque and not cosmetically acceptable . Options for micronized g the product make this more acceptable but may effect the spf. Chemical suncreens are capable of providing higher spf and a clear preparation.
