Yes: My son, as an 11 year old, did an interesting trial in middle school.He measured eveyone in his class at 0900 and after playground.He found a 3 degree difference was normal.98.6 is just a starting point.You should know your usual temperature, we don't usually consider under 101 as fever in an adult.
