what are the possible causes of mid-back pain that radiates either through right ribs or into upper abdomen in a 39 yr old man?

Dr. David Bennett

Many: Could be gall bladder disease but could also be musculo-skeletal such as a depressed or elevated rib or another rib injury(intercostal muscles). Have to think of emergent things such as heart attack, abd aortic aneurysm that is leaking or intestinal issue. Need more info.
