A member asked:

Is it normal for clear or orange liquid to come out of the breast?

Probably not: Nipple discharge especially from multiple ducts and both breasts may be physiologic , but there may be underlying hormonal changes which need medical work up. Nipple discharge from one breast and one duct usually indicates presence of an abnormality in that particular duct. It may be benign and sometimes malignant. Therefore you need to have a work up prferably by a breast physician.

Depends: If you are 18 it is probably ok, especially in small amounts. But if it looks bloody or is profuse, have it checked out. Clear discharges, especially if they are thick can be definitely abnormal, especially if the woman is post-menopausal. All bloody nipple discharges are abnormal and should be checked out.
