Will red fruit juices stain my ceramic braces?

Yes: The brackets that are ceramic can stain as can the elastic band that hold the wires in the bracket slots. The cement holdinh the bracket on the tooth may also stain.

Ceramic braces: The ceramic braces won't stain but your teeth will over time. The ceramic reflects tooth color and will give the appearance of being stained.

Pigments: Strong pigments can stain anything, especially over time. The elastic modules that hold the wires in place can stain easily, tooth enamel less so, and clear brackets least of all, but all can discolor. To reduce stains, rinse w water immediately after consuming highly pigmented foods.
