Many uses: Spironolactone is a diuretic and can be used to get rid of the body's extra fluid. It's also a aldosterone blocker and can be used to block the adverse effects of aldosterone on the heart and other tissues. It's also a testosterone blocker and can be used to decrease hair growth in patients with excessive hair.
