Simple: You must stop taking any antihistamines 3-4 days prior to skin testing because it can interfere with the results of your test.The back is cleansed with alcohol.Areas of the skin are then marked w a pen to identify each allergen that will be tested.A drop of extract for each potential allergen is placed on the corresponding mark.Takes 15 minutes to see how your skin reacts.
