Time: Scars can't be removed. They can be revised to look better, but once you have a scar you will always have a scar. For best way to revise a scar you should see a plastic surgeon. Fading takes time, but can speed it up with retin-a.

Improve, not remove: All scars are permanent, and no surgeon or surgical technique presently in existence can completely remove or eliminate scars. Skilled plastic surgery can change the orientation, size, width, and bad texture of unsatisfactory scarring, but a new (hopefully better) scar will take its place. Sometimes the improved scar is so minimal it becomes essentially "invisible" but some scarring always remains.
