Many methods.: The week around ovulation is the best time to get pregnant. Having sex daily or every other day during that week gives the same preg rate. If you have regular cycles, 14 days before your cycle should start is the most likely ovulation day. If you can do an ovulation calendar with basal temp check and cervical mucus, that is even more accurate. Ovulation testing kits (available otc) are even better.

What did your gyn sa: Say? U should ovulate 14 days before your period so if your cycles are every 28 days u ovulate day 14 , u start counting on the 1st day of your period- that is day 1 if your cycles are 35 days then u ovulate on day 21 and u can get an ovulation kit at the store to make sure u are ovulating.

Sex on fertile days: With a 28-day cycle, ovulation happens around day 14. That is day 14 counting from the beginning of a period (the first day of bleeding is day 1). That is also known as 14 days after LMP, which means last menstrual period. If wanting a baby, start having sex twice a day on day 11, for a full 6 days... and enjoy those days, without thinking about pregnancy, babies, or anything related to cycles.

Maybe: Only you and your partner can determine when is the best time to concieve. Ideally, you should be up to date on your health screening (pap smear, immunizations), you should be taking a prenatal vitamin and i recommend preconceptional counseling visit with your ob/gyn prior to conception.

No: The beat time to get pregnant is with ovulation not menstration. Periods are generally 28 days, with the best time to get pregnant at the beginning half of your cycle, not the end half.
