Retainer wear: It depends on the type of treatment offered and how much your teeth moved when they were straightened. If your teeth were really crowded or spaced you will need to wear it more often. If the teeth were only slightly crooked or spaced then less often. A safe estimate would be 4 hours during the day and all night for a few months then night time only therafter but discuss this with your orthodontist.
