6-8wks: Most fractures heal in about 6 wks, depending on location, severity and treatment. Non-displaced fractures are immobilized and displaced fractures usually require surgical fixation, especially those involving the articular surface.

6-8 weeks: Is the general time for any bone to heal. Make sure you are not vitamin d deficient and follow your doctors orders with regard to care, i.E cast, sling etc.
