A member asked:

How long could food poisoning usually last?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on cause: Many food borne illnesses are gone within a day or so including staph food poisoning and norovirus, some are gone within 5-7 days like salmonellosis and campylobacteriosis but some can last months like botulism or years like the human form of mad cow disease.
