Very much so: I am not sure i fully understand your question, but the field of family medicine is based on the holistic understanding that the physical & emotional health of each person affects (and is effected by) everyone in their family. Thus, your emotional health inevitably affects others in your family, just as their emotional health has an impact on you. Family therapists work with this understanding.
