A member asked:

Are light blue eyes with a dark border common and what does that mean in terms of biology?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Iris variation: The iris, a name derived from the greek for rainbow, comes in a wonderful variety of colors and patterns. Looked at closely and carefully, you can be aware of these variations. There is not biological signficance to such variations in an otherwise normal iris. Enjoy yours and be more conscious of the patterns in others.
