A leaky & weak valve: The heart is a machine with plumbing. There are four holding tanks. Two upper and two lower. There are 4 valves in the heart that regulate the outflow. On the right side of the heart the blood is pumped to the lungs to get oxygen. The valve that is between the upper and lower is called the tricuspid valve. When it is damaged blood pushed from the top to the bottom leaks back into the top.

Valve problem: The tricuspid valve is between the right atrium and ventricle. It makes the blood going in one direction only. When the valve is not competent, some amount can go back to the right atrium: that's called regurgitation. Little amounts are benign. When it's too much it might need a corrective surgery.

A leaky valve: The tricuspid valve one of the four heart valves that keeps the blood moving in a forward direction. It is located between the Right Atrium and the Right Ventricle. Tricuspid regurgitation is the leaking of the valve with blood moving backwards in the wrong direction.
