Yes, generally.: There are different "morning after pill" regimens. Most rely on high synthetic estrogen/progesterone intake (lots of birth control pills) which causes significant nausea for women. The approach is not nearly as effective as traditional contraception. If you are anticipating intercourse, use traditional contraception like a condom, or the intrauterine device or a contraceptive (pill/patch).
