Why would someone who is pregnant need to see a blood doctor?

Health of mother: And baby: pregnant women need to be examined to check for anemia, toxemia, fetal health, vaccination, screening for fetal defects and more. Preferable a visit with the doctor should occur before deciding to get pregnant for preventive care.
