Copd: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is a condition where the smaller bronchioles produce executive mucus obstructing the airway. A variant of copd, called emphysema, elasticity of the terminal bronchioles and alveoli is lost. There are four stages mild, moderate, severe and very severe depending on the lung function tests(fev1).
