Good news!!!: This uncommon tumor was discovered in 1982 and is much less aggressive than most brain tumors. Get two neuropathologists' opinions if you can. A pathologist can spot microscopic features and may do a proliferation index to estimate your changes, but most of these do not recur after excision. Talk with your surgeon, and good luck.
