Is there a connection between narcissism and schizophrenia?

Possibly: There are a number of possible connections. The most important one is that any chronic disease (such as schizophrenia) is likely to make you more preoccupied with yourself (and thus make you seem narcissistic). In addition, schizophrenia, which is primarily a disorder of unusual brain connections, makes people think in ways that are very personal and don't make sense to others.

Not really : Narcissisim is the inability to take another perspective and think/act accordingly. Schizophrenia is the disorganized thinking, delusions, extremely poor or limited speech behavior and movements. One is treated with medicine, antipsychotics, the other with compassion and therapy. Sometimes narcissists gets meds due to their anger problems, they can get agitated and dangerous. A Dr can assess that.
