Probably not direct: Genuine schizophrenia does not usually cause "weird body tremors." but, some of the antipsychotic medications used to treat this illness might cause movement disorders both acutely and long-term. Also, if the diagnosis of "schizophrenia" is mistaken, & the person actually has something else like various types of delirium (including from drug intoxication & withdrawal) then tremors could happen.

Some of the meds : make people twitch. It can be dealt with by lowering medicine or changing meds or adding meds to help deal with it. It should be addressed and not allowed to go on.
