How long will it take for a stress fracture of the metatarsal goes away?

Approximately 6 week: Pain can go away before this time but on average take 2 weeks in either direction. I am a big fan of making sure vitamin d levels are within normal range after dignosing someone with a stress fracture. Over 90% of the time i fing them to be deficient or insufficient.
