It Varies: There are no special kinds of math or science courses that are required in college for oncology. The courses would be the same for anyone going into medical school. Much of the training is during medical school, residence and fellowship. A strong physics background helps with some area such as radiation oncology.

Do great on MCAT: The basic scientific literacy stuff. Two years chemistry, two years biology with a focus on the new biology / molecular genetics, one year physics, calculus into double integrals but can skip differential equations. Enough science to evaluate "pop" claims and read the New England Journal of Medicine.
