No: Enlarged adenoids are often the cause of recurrent sinus infections, so they may just go away now. See your pediatrician or an allergist if the sinuses keep getting infected.

Not particularly: Toddlers main sinus vulnerabilities relate to smaller head size with smaller drainage portals and more frequent respiratory illnesses. Removal of adenoids can reduce frequency in some, but will not alter their main issues.
