Is there such thing as an eeg test that is several days long? have you heard of it?

EEG: This is done to document an actual seizure on the eeg. Patient is admitted to hospital for days or even weeks, and electroded are hooked up on head, and when seizures occur, they are recorded on the eeg as he/she is having them.
