A member asked:

How unhealthy is popcorn?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not very: The principal issue with popcorn is the oils used to douse the finished product. Many of these are synthetic, most have a high caloric content and even actual butter can be overdone. Also if you need to limit your salt intake, popcorn can be a problem. Popcorn itself is high volume, low caloric and a great appetite suppresant.
