Is ok: Often a conservative approach is best. Addressing diet, exercise and types of food that may be causing stomach problems and then recommending probiotics and medications to reduce acid formation may resolve a majority of problems. To rush to a scope may be a bit expensive and aggressive. If symptoms improve with diet modification and first line meds, you can have relief sooner.
