Few days: Mebendazole kills worms in a few days and may need a repeat dose in two weeks if symptoms persist. Vermox is still such a great medication because it works so well with just one or two doses.

Pinworms: Vermox will treat the pinworms in 2-3 days. A second dose should be taken two weeks later in order to kill any that are newly hatched.
