A member asked:

Is there anything that can prevent cervical cancer all together?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, but...: Almost all cervical cancers are caused by one or another strain of the hpv virus. Lifelong abstinence or being with only one man who has never been with any other woman are the most reliable. The new hpv vaccine is very promising. Most deaths from cervical cancer are preventable even if the disease is found while developing or in the early stages.
