Is there any way to make the final stages of lung cancer pleasant?

Yes: There are a number of ways to keep a patient confortable. The hospice and palliative care teams are great at this. They also do so in a caring and compassionate way so that the patient and family suffer as little as is possible.

Yes: Hospice or comfort care, lots of morphine which suppresses the feeling of breathlessness and lets the patient pass away without undue suffering and with dignity.
