Not necessarily: You should get into a relationship, because you like someone for who they are. Bipolar disorder is a very treatable disorder and many people who have bipolar disorder do very well with treatment. That said, you should find out if they are being treated by a psychiatrist. Untreated bipolar disorder can lead to episodes of impulsivity and of severe depression.

Bipolar: Not necessarily. Most bipolars are stabilized with therapy and can lead a healthy family life as long as they remain compliant with their treatment and have strong social support system.
