Not necessarily: In general, once you have identified that you need some visual assistance, you can use either contact or glasses or both! that choice depends on your comfort level and needs. Sometimes, certain eye problems may be better corrected with one or the other, so discuss with your eyecare provider.

Yes!: All contact lens wearers need glasses to wear. This is because there must be a backup to the contacts. However the glasses do not need to be the most recent prescription, just something in which you could see well enough to function.

No: Glasses and contact lenses are two separate ways to correct your vision. Most people use glasses for their visual needs. Some people prefer to use contacts.
