It shouldn't : If the pacer is set properly and one is pacer dependent, the heart rate is set. Different settings may be set up so that if the heart rate increases or decreases the pacer will start up and take over at a predetermined rate. Other symptoms of anxiety or nervousness or cramps may occur.
