There are many: There are many type of pain killers it depends upon the type of pain your trying to eliminate. Most dental pain is caused by localized inflammation in a particular area do to infection or trauma to a specific area. If your trying to eliminate pain from the central nervous system then you need something in the codiene family. Otherwise the nsaids work fine.

None: If they have Acetaminophen , they have the ability to damage he liver. If you really need to take pain meds , and there is Acetaminophen in the pills, take n acetyl cysteine every day to protect the liver by regenerating glutathione that is lost in detoxifying the body of the acetaminophen.
